Review on JVC HARX500 Full Size Headphones Silver by Nick Palacio
Poor sound uncomfortable
I bought these to upgrade a pair of $5 headphones I bought at a discount store that I use to listen to music at work (and block people's conversations) . After using these JVCs for a week, I went back to my old ones. The sound quality on them is terrible. It's slurred, the vocals are buried, but the bass is pretty weak too. Some other reviews say they sound decent with the amp, but I won't be spending money to find out. Another issue with them is comfort. They feel comfortable at first, but the hard plastic on the speakers puts pressure on the ears and eventually causes pain. They are very plastic and appear brittle. I do not recommend.
