Surprisingly good resolution even with the

If you're looking for a bright 21-30mm "FF" equivalent for your DX/APS-C camera, this lens is TÜV approved. By fast I mean you can lower the ISO, but the autofocus isn't fast on this lens (although it was very accurate with my D500, even when focusing on the outer edges). Being an f/2 wide-angle lens, expect some weight and this lens is definitely hefty, but it goes well with my D500. If you want to use it as a wide-angle landscape lens for DX/C APS-C, things are a little more complicated. First, it's not super wide, although it's usually just what I need, its zoom range is a bit limited. It has some distortion that can be corrected with PTLens (my pick anyway), there is some vignetting at larger apertures, high contrast transitions show CA (needs aggressive correction if it comes in), produce shots with the sun in the frame Ghosting (almost every lens suffers from it) and also field curvature. If you need sharp corners, the last problem is the most problematic with this lens. I've found that if I set my aperture to f/5.6 and focus the corners and then stop down to f/11 I can get everything in focus in focus but the great sharpness that is still present at f/8 , is noticeably reduced. , and some sharpening may be needed to get more definition on large prints.
