I am very happy with how the sheet matches our deep pillow top mattress which also has a 3 inch egg crate. It was difficult to find slabs that matched the depth and impossible to find those that stay in place. This is due to the size and the straps at the bottom. They really are made for thick mattresses! HOWEVER, right out of the box, one of the two sheets we ordered had an odd, slightly urine-like odor. It's so annoying I couldn't stand it. Rough! We were going to put it on the bed today and then we had to wash it first, which isn't easy when you don't have your own washing machine. Unfortunately the laundry didn't help much so we paid for two sheets but can't use either of them. And that doesn't mean they're cheap for just ONE sheet. So despite the great fit I don't want to buy them again because of the smell. I'm more likely to deal with a sheet that doesn't hold up than one that smells like it.
