Review on 💼 Targus CVR217 Neoprene Slipcase: TSA-Friendly Shoulder Strap Laptop Sleeve by Darth Naubert

I was a bit concerned about the lack of feedback on the TSS898 and the fact that the rating was below 4.0. But I'm glad I decided to order the bag. I was looking for a small case for my XPS15 and was struggling to find a small, thin case that would hold my laptop, power bank, and a few small accessories (such as a portable drive). This bag is perfect for those needs. The first thing I would like to mention is that the thickness of the bag is wrong on the Revain and Targus website. Looking at the pictures on both sides, I couldn't figure out how this zippered front pocket bag could be 1.1 inches. When the bag arrived I found that it looked exactly like the photos but was thicker than advertised. The material that wraps around the sides and bottom is actually 2.0 inches thick, and the front pocket protrudes 1/2 inch more at the top and 1.0 inch more at the bottom. I was happy to see that was the case as I was concerned that the claimed 1.1 inches would not be enough room. I could easily fit two of my laptops into the main compartment. A thin laptop offers more space for accessories either in this main compartment or in the front pocket. This bag is much thinner than my old 17 inch Targus bag and much lighter. Cons: The only downside I have with the bag (which I didn't deduct a star for) is that I'd rather double the cushion on the bottom. Either two layers of dense foam rubber -OR- an outer rubber pad. I really liked the rubber bottom of my old Targus bag; It covered the entire floor and protected it from wear and tear when you put the bag on the cement (and protected it from water when the floor was wet).
