The lining of this wallet is well made, but you wouldn't believe it just by looking at the bag. I love the cotton parts of it, but the quilt on the front looks like it was made from cut t-shirts; I used embroidery floss and pinned the folded edges, I added an old bikini thong to the crossed ones you see from the front. This is a sturdy bag that you can put anything in, maybe even books. It's well put together, but I had to make these changes because the cut parts of the t-shirt made it look like I put it together myself. I also lowered the strap and, again using embroidery floss, made a pocket to temporarily hold loose change or my phone (until I leave it there as it may fall out) as this strap is quite long and I'm not that tall as a man who could wear it properly; unless you like having that large bag hanging from you like you're a Sherpa climber, or from a shoulder hanging down to your knees. It's really "hippie" and a real hobo bag, but looks pretty when worn with the right clothes. The back is a patchwork quilt of colorful squares neatly sewn together. I think they should have left the cut t-shirt in front. Because it looks like something straight out of the '60s, the '80s-inspired cut-up t-shirt business is oddly discarding anything retro.
