Review on 🔬 Creality 3D Official 235x235x3mm Tempered Glass Build Plate by Kenny Sarma

I bought this to put on my warped Ender 3 bed. I spoke to an experienced 3D printer who suggested using this upside down because the textured materials didn't work. I have to tell you that it definitely works and it works great! Nevertheless, a few tips for those who want to buy this: 1) Do not use cleaning products on this. If it's looking a little dirty or cheesy, just wash it with Dawn dish soap and water when you need some. Don't drink alcohol! Most cleaners damage the separator material that the platform uses to expand and contract when heated. 2) If you are printing ABS or PETG (high temperature filaments), allow the platen to cool completely and your prints will almost disappear. There is no need to add glue or anything else to the bed. Simply print out, let cool and peel off. 3) When you print PLA, the bed gets a little trickier. It won't stretch that far, so always releasing an imprint when it shrinks isn't enough. To fix this I added a GCODE to my slicer that automatically heats the build plate up to the PETG bed temperature (75°C) and then immediately cools it down at the end of the print. This expands the platform a bit and compresses it a bit more than the 60C I usually print PLA at and allows the print to release like PETG/ABS. If you don't do this, the print job will be VERY difficult to remove and you could damage it by trying to remove prints. 4) Finally, don't use anything to remove prints from the bed if you can. This not only avoids possible injuries, but also damage to the bed. Just let it heat up to expand, print your part and let it cool completely. If it's PLA, see my third point above.
