As for the mirror, it's great. BUT - you will need a 5/16" x 3" steel bolt and nut to securely use the mounting bracket. After initially installing the unit from the box and hand tightening the nut, after a few minutes I heard a popping sound and realized the plastic screw had broken in two. You can't tighten this mirror very tight without breaking IMO. It cost me $0.39 for a nut and bolt at Home Depot, not much more than the hassle that comes with it. The mirror itself is very easy to use when mounted on a bike frame. You can easily look down and scan the road behind you for cars with a very light wiggle of the steering wheel. This is a convenient and intuitive way to scan vehicles. Much better than a helmet mirror and it hardly interferes with anything that might get in its way.
