I wanted a mirror that would be unobtrusive and give me a reasonable idea of what's behind me. This mirror did it. I have a carbon frame bike and the mount was nowhere near big enough to actually fit the frame. The mirror does not fit in the frame. The curve size is clearly made for narrow tube bikes, not carbon. As for the mirror, it's great. BUT - you will need a 5/16" x 3" steel bolt and nut to securely use the mounting bracket. After initially installing the unit from the box and hand tightening the nut, after a few minutes I heard a popping sound and realized the plastic screw had broken in two.
