Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Bike-Eye Narrow Frame Mount Mirror for Enhanced Visibility by Nate Eich

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works but it's ugly

I wanted a mirror that would be unobtrusive and give me a reasonable idea of what's behind me. This mirror did it. I have a carbon frame bike and the mount was nowhere near big enough to actually fit the frame. The mirror does not fit in the frame. The curve size is clearly made for narrow tube bikes, not carbon. This mirror just doesn't have a nifty way of sitting on a wider carbon frame. It's like a mouse riding an elephant. I have to deduct points for that. BUT, the mirror meets my slimness criteria - better than a mirror on the end of a pole or a mirror attached to a helmet, in my opinion. The view is mostly clear. Do I sometimes see my leg or the back of the bike - yes. But I can also see behind the motorcycle. This is a great product idea that just needs a little more work.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Weight
