This KVM switch was just what I needed at work! Laptops don't usually have two HDMI ports, but luckily my work laptop has a docking station that works just fine. Setup was super easy: just follow the instructions, but know in advance that you will need 2 additional HDMI cables (Cable S from the description). My desktop only had mDP (Mini DisplayPort) inputs, but I had two HDMI adapters, so it wasn't a problem. The only problem I had was that the keyboard's USB port isn't working - Windows says it doesn't recognize the device. therefore the installation fails. Luckily, this switch has two additional USB ports - both worked great with my keyboard. Also, the package includes an IR remote control but does not include 2 AAA batteries. You need them because the switch beeps loudly every time you switch computers that allow you to toggle the beep on and off with the remote (press 0 and SHUT which makes the switch beep a little longer to indicate this the sound has been muted). Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
