My children play sports and one of my teenagers has very bad eczema on his feet. At first we thought it was athlete's foot. We tried all means and nothing worked. It got worse. We took him to the dermatologist and she said it looked like an allergic reaction and that we should try a milder soap. We tried it and it helped a bit but the eczema stayed. Eventually it got pretty bad, almost like the worst 2nd degree burn imaginable, covering the entire upper part of both legs. I feverishly did a little research and found that ED is very similar to eczema. I did some research and found that bamboo socks can be very helpful for foot eczema. Because they help keep feet cool and dry. I was surprised when after 5 days his legs were 90% better. He wore bamboo socks to lift weights and work out (every day), and he wore mules or nothing at all as often as he could (it's summer vacation). His legs look a lot better, I'm so happy. I was very concerned about his long-term health. But this solution was so easy and works great so far. We're going to throw away all his cotton Nike socks, and to him they're all bamboo. Basketball needs two healthy legs and that's his first love. I'm glad this eczema doesn't stop him from dreaming.
