This is not for beginners!

Lordt will help you make this pattern. I made an "A" pattern. My son, a huge Donkey Kong fan, wanted a costume for Halloween, and it's at that awkward sizing stage when a large child's costume (store-bought) is too small, teen sizes are harder to find than a four-leaf clover, and an adult xs costume swallow it. Everyone. So I thought, 'I'll take my car and my mom will make a Donkey Kong for my boy. Buckle up, Buttercup! It's going to be great!' Fast forward to this in 2 weeks. I work full time, have 3 kids and family/social commitments. This scheme is crazier than a box of frogs. It was designed for faux fur. Instead, he wanted fleece. An inch and a half seam allowances are a waste of material. This may be necessary with faux fur, but not with fleece. I trimmed the awkward, heartbreaking seam lines from fabric scraps. Fleece and faux fur aren't exactly cheap materials, unless you have a good coupon (I had!). I think the pattern designer thought we all had faux fur trees in our yard, or a fleece tree in my case. This pattern doesn't tell you ahead of time that you need tailor's chalk or a really good fabric pencil or hammer. If you're making faux fur to iron out the seams (no kidding), a billion pins or clips for the hem, at least 2 full spools of thread and the patience of a saint for the belly of the pattern. I sew from time to time. Maybe every few months. Pajamas, pillows, curtains, baby things, zip bags, clothes, trolleys, I've even crocheted fabrics, I even made a coat once! So I have sewing skills. This template is written in confusing AF. Stomach. I redid the stomach 4 times before deciding to do it my way, not theirs. I did it that way. You basically need to make a butterfly out of a template. I made a pattern for these peppers out of fabric and circled them on the fold. I then cut 2 of these out of my fabric. Then I put the cotton like a flatbread in the middle. Then pinned and sewn. But let everyone know that on average you have large tolerances for the seams and not for the belly. You get 5/8" and 3/8" in curves. Due to the batting and thick material, it becomes incredibly difficult to bend and iron the edges. It's basically 8 things in one step. Read it. Then again 5 times. Get out your marker and pretend you're back in an English class. If you create this template, please purchase additional materials. you will need them. And alcohol. Maybe an extra drink will make ends meet. Much luck! It's basically 8 things in one step. Read it. Then again 5 times. Get out your marker and pretend you're back in an English class.
