Works great. I took it on a multi-day hike and it worked well enough with a few caveats listed below. Pros: - It's lightweight - The insulated hose kept my water from freezing in 15-20F weather - Quick disconnects - Sturdy mounting ring if your pack supports it (more on that later) - The cleaning kit includes a hanging tool, which is a great addition - The cleaning kit includes many brushes including a flexible one which is the perfect length/size for a large drinking tube (all shown in the photos). This made it a bit difficult for me to guide the pack as most of the holes are quite narrow. The port on the bag will not hold water if nothing is attached. This meant I had to completely unplug the bite valve, make sure the switch was off, and then finally pull the pouch and hose all the way out of the pack. If it had a check valve I could detach the bag and just pull it out leaving the tubing in place. It would save time and it would be nice to know that the bag wouldn't leak into my pocket in case the hose was accidentally disconnected. (see photos) - Bag holder not properly aligned when shipped. I'm not aware of any bags with mounts that work on a ring, but please correct me if I'm wrong. With some effort I was able to turn the ring so that the hole was at the top. A NOTICE. To release it you have to let go of the tab. So be careful if you decide to do the same. The bite valve cover will not stay in place. It pops up if you look at it even the wrong way. I don't care, but the rubber that makes up the bite valve picks up dirt and grit like no other (see photos). Conclusion: This was a great moisture wrap. Aside from a few quirks, which can usually be fixed if they bother you, this bubble works adequately and you can't get better for the money. If you have any questions let me know.
