Shipping: Item arrived quickly and well packaged in a large box. The actual product packaging appears to have been sealed with tape (see photo). This was a bit disappointing as it was bought as a gift. However, the content appeared to be unused. The reason I bought this was because of the replicas, but I might get a wooden set or something better once he gets the hang of it. Edit: My 7 year old has been playing with this set for almost a week now and he loves it! He plays it every day, sometimes multiple times. He plays chess on the computer, otherwise he is a beginner. He's really good and plays like a pro. I think the lines were very helpful and played a big part in how quickly he settled into the game. He does not have to ask how/where to move the parts. Even my 13 year old who was never interested in gaming loves it! I think it also has to do with hints that make the game easier. I would buy this product again. Highly recommended!
