I was looking for a basic ring light to do home video/photo only. Nothing special and it works perfectly. This is an ordinary table ring light. It doesn't have a retractable stem, just a small tripod to attach it to. I liked it because the phone holder is in the circle of the ring light and not on a pole like some other ring lights. It's not very durable though as you can't hold the tripod in place but I only use it indoors with my phone so it works great as long as you don't move it around too much. It only comes with a USB port, which is annoying. I would have preferred if it came with a wall plug but I knew what I was taking. There is a small remote control on the cable for switching on and off and adjusting the brightness. In principle, it is quite suitable for a starter flashlight.
