Vera Bradley quality but my pup isn't sure

This recycled Vera Bradley Lighten Up Water Repellent Pet Carrier offers Vera Bradley quality but my pup isn't sure So it's a great dog carrier. I have a 14 pound puppy who goes with me pretty much everywhere because he a) loves it and b) misbehaves when left at home. It looked like a great solution if we need to go somewhere. This is a soft side bag. It is made from 100% polyester, canvas and recycled bottles. A polyurethane layer is glued to the back of the canvas, which is waterproof and very easy to clean. The bag includes two safety straps and carrying handles. On one side two wide and deep pockets for carrying water, treats, food etc. On the other side a D-ring for attaching a poop bag holder. It has a top zip closure and an opening at one end for your pup's head to look around. There is also a small strap with a buckle that you can attach to your dog's collar or harness so the pup can't just jump out of the head hole. The inner floor has a removable memory foam liner with a removable, washable faux Sherpa cover. The cover is incredibly soft, so your pup will feel very comfortable on it. To use, unzip the zipper, place the puppy in the bag with its head toward the head hole, attach the strap to the dog's harness or collar, and fasten. My dog, a chihuahua/dachshund mix, fits in very well and has plenty of room to lie down. Trouble is, he's not sure he wants to be in the bag. LOL I think we can get used to him because he lives to travel with us but it will take time. We currently carry it in a bag on our arm and he seems fine with that, so I think over time he'll get used to carrying it by the handles.
