At first glance it seemed too big. More than I thought when I bought it, but not in a bad way. It's not exquisite and I really like its size makes it easy to handle. I really like the auto on and auto off feature where it turns on and off automatically when you open or close it. A small detail but I really like it. I also love that you can open it a full 180° to examine something straight ahead or any angle in between. Magnetic is handy too, I carried my old one in my pocket. I can clip it to my pit (where it's not too hot) or to my microwave over my stovetop. Oh, and I almost forgot the best feature of them all; That thing is rechargeable! This is important to me because on the previous ones I've always lost the battery cover and this thermometer is actually just one piece. I hated losing the battery cover and taped it down to keep the battery from falling out. As my title suggests, this product has a lot of great features. I'll take care of the details. Oh yes, and the last one. That's right, I compared in a glass of ice water to my other wireless thermometer with 4 probes that I plugged in. All 5 gave the same readings. Finally, if there is a problem, I know that Inkbird customer support is pretty good at solving the issue.
