For the price of 2 disposable filters, this filter is cleanable, reusable and guaranteed for 10 years or 1 million miles. (Don't subscribe to Revain's 4-year protection plan and add it! 🤦‍♂️) If you don't want to take it out from time to time and clean it yourself, have your mechanic put a new one in every time. Oil changes (just make sure they do it!). It's not hard to get access to the filter (I doubt my shop ever changed it before I installed K&N) but the savings on disposable filters and mechanic fees will definitely be worth it for me! Note: I saw a review of a complaint about a cancer warning. K&N is based in California, where Proposition 63 applies. Proposition 63 requires almost EVERYTHING to be labeled as a carcinogen. Even groceries in California carry a Proposition 63 warning! Californians ignore the warning because it's so common. Meanwhile, the real cancer in California is 'management', killing almost everything positive and good in the once golden state.
