Review on 🍵 Kalmateh Yerba Mate Gourd and Thermos Set - Innovative Mate Gourd, Thermos, Bombilla Straw, Gift Box by Crystal Robinson

For the money you get everything you need to get started with mate and it's a modern easy way with stainless steel maybe the perfect step before calabash curing and real Matero / Matera will. The lid is a pretty nifty gadget to take with you in the car or on public transport, but plastic is a disappointing material for many, including myself. I wouldn't recommend it as the bottle doesn't keep the water hot for very long compared to my other bottles. While the beak is great for partners, it's made from thin plastic pieces that I put together in just two days. I see that they sell replacement parts on their website, but instead of just buying plastic parts every few months, I'm going to use a tried and true thermos. Because of this, despite the beautiful presentation, very light packaging and overall appeal of this brand, I would recommend building your own set. *EDIT* Kalmateh provided great customer service by offering a different version of the thermos. It also has a great mate filling, but unlike the others, it's very durable and has a nicer finish. Don't quote me as the outside temperature is very hot, but it also seems to keep the water at the right temperature for much longer and is similar to a good thermos that I know of. While I cannot express my doubts about the thermos offered in this set, the customer service is 5 stars and also upped my original rating by one star as they will not let you down if you are unsatisfied with some of the products.
