Review on 🌊 Quick Dam QD610-1 Water-Activated Flood Barrier: The Ultimate 1-Pack Solution in Black by David Epps

I bought this to keep water out of my garage when it rained. As advertised. Well it doesn't really work. I will explain. This is probably a great flood barrier as it keeps a lot of water from entering the garage. BUT it is not waterproof and water seeps in underneath. And when rain etc is extreme the seepage can be quite large. In my garage, the flow has been reduced by about 90%, but there's still some left to do internal damage. Another problem is that the material is quite brittle. If you step on it or even move it a few times, it will rip and the crystals will erupt from inside. As for those crystals. After the initial water uptake and expansion (which takes longer than stated), the barrier will function as described above. But on the other hand, when it dries up, it never recovers/inflates to the same extent and the efficiency gets worse and worse. So if you live somewhere (like me in California) where it can rain heavily for several days, a week is worth 90 degrees. it is basically a disposable product. Finally. I hoped. but very disappointed. Instead, I had to buy another product that created a powerful dam of water.
