Product Fault: Safety and Protection

We bought two packs early and use them in heavy rain to protect our townhouse patio in heavy rain when HOA's drainage system fails. In other words, it is the drain that inundates us. The product was defective the first time. I am attaching the picture for reference. We can't return because the return window closed about two months ago - because we always buy them BEFORE we need them so we have them when we need them. A product that fails even once is a problem. I will try to find a new productโ€ฆ

Works great - safes and safe accessories

We had torrential rains in the fall summer and the last tropical storm flooded the garage. They worked well in the next storm. Ideal for garage doors. As they expand, they become heavy and the remaining gel ends up on your hands. Judging by the packaging, they are reusable. The only problem is that they dry out in between when you need them. This takes a lot of time and you have to figure out where to put them to dry. It leaves a puddle as it begins to shrink. We had to hang them by elasticโ€ฆ

So, disappointment, the water went right under

I had high hopes for this product but it didn't suit me at all. We have an isolated room in the basement that leaks from time to time. Instead of spreading the water thinly all over the basement, I was hoping I could use this dam to keep the water in a confined space where it would seep into the basement so I could then pump it out. Unfortunately, while it deployed easily and soaked up water quickly, it didn't stop water from seeping underneath. "dry" side of the dam) Maybe it would be good for

I bought two Quick Dams to keep water off my driveway in my garage. During pure tide they worked well. They were swollen and appeared to be preventing the water from flooding the garage and basement. But the reason for the three stars is that after one use, the material inside leaks. I had to move the dams so I couldn't drive over them and it all fell into my hands. After four days of "drying" (two days in the sun) the material is still on the dam. I have no idea if my dams are damaged. I would

Not waterproof Suitable for safety accessories

I bought this to keep water out of my garage when it rained. As advertised. Well it doesn't really work. I will explain. This is probably a great flood barrier as it keeps a lot of water from entering the garage. BUT it is not waterproof and water seeps in underneath. And when rain etc is extreme the seepage can be quite large. In my garage, the flow has been reduced by about 90%, but there's still some left to do internal damage. Another problem is that the material is quite brittle. If youโ€ฆ
