My Kubota RTV has a 4500lb Warn winch, but the Warn installation manual does NOT have chain protection plans. There is absolutely NO circuit protection, not even mentioned in the instructions. I don't like circuits without a fuse or circuit breaker. Since the winch can draw up to 300 amps at maximum exertion, I installed it to protect my car and investment. There is 4 gauge wiring in the installation which means there is a high risk of fire which could result in the loss of the vehicle if not secured. The only complaint I have is that the clear plastic lid doesn't attach any more securely than the simple "tabs" that attach to the base. Ty-Wrap takes care of the entire assembly. happy customer
