Being a "gel" I was hoping it would have more holding power but that doesn't seem to be the case. It gets pretty wet and stays wet all day. If you touch your beard, it will be in your arms all day long. While I can't speak from experience, I would be concerned that if my beard grows a little longer it will soil my shirts.
