I really like this litter and my six month old kittens don't seem to mind. no accidents! I like it because it absorbs liquid well and leaves no odor. It takes a little longer to remove the small granules (since when they're dirty they're not much darker than clean litter), but it's worth not having the dust that regular clumping litter does. . My kittens try to cover their poo, but they're not good at it: this litter doesn't cover that smell either. Since they tend to come around at the same time each day, it's not difficult to remove them quickly. This throw doesn't go anywhere either. The granules are easy to grab and won't stick to kittens' paws. Overall I really like it and will donate the clumping litter I have left over to a local animal shelter. UPDATE: Be aware. I have papers to shred in a plastic box. My girl thought it was the second tray (fortunately #1) but that's no good. So keep that in mind if you have papers hanging anywhere. Cats may think this litter smells and use your pile for themselves! Lesson learned. I now continue grinding in a closed box. I hope my little girl learns too!
