The size is just right for me. However, like other leather slippers, they are a bit tight when you first put them on, which is a good thing. The skin always gives and if they fit perfectly now they will be too loose in about a week. However, after a few days they stretched to the point where they were comfortable and didn't loosen up in a week. In terms of construction, they are well made. The silicone rubber outsole is glued or cast directly onto the leather sole and is very comfortable. This provides some compression and makes walking more comfortable. All leather parts are correctly aligned and the stitching is well done. They look good and feel good. I am very happy with them and have paid more for a shoe that turned out to be inferior.
