I was attempting to replace a fan cooled 12V power supply for my WS2811 led lights on my Christmas tree, and since they were the same brand as the LEDs I figured this would work. I verified the power supply was rated for the current, but the LEDs flashed like the ground was bad or the power supply produced a lot of interference with my esp32 controller. What was really concerning was that if I pressed lightly on the power supply brick it would flash worse. Bad internal ground or something? It felt cheap to begin with so it doesn't surprise me there was a problem. Returning and going back to my old power supply which worked immediately after with no issues. I guess my tree will just be a little loud for the rest of the season. I wouldn't trust this power supply, find something higher quality.
