This worked fine for my wife. The vent clip is strong but soft and will not harm your car. The bracket easily adjusts to different positions and won't come loose if you tighten it properly. You just have to remember to press the phone against the charger to make the PopSocket collapse, otherwise it won't charge due to the distance (obviously). The only issue I have is that it is designed for a replacement PopSocket cap. Depending on the age of your PopSocket, the angle of your phone, or the bumps in the road, it may come loose and your phone could fall into the car. I'd love to see a redesign where it sticks to a collapsible rubber PopSocket instead. However, we haven't had any problems with it yet, but I imagine it will happen to someone. However, I would recommend this to anyone who has a PopSocket on their phone and wants to charge on the go without being plugged in!
