I change the water filter on my 5 wheeler every season. I usually buy a standard size Camco filter. This year is the first time I have bought the larger size XL as it is said to skip more volume. At many campgrounds, low water pressure can be an issue, so less restriction on water flow can be an advantage. The price of a larger filter might seem a bit steep compared to the standard size, but if it performs better then it's not out of line. I have had very good results with these Camco filters for many years. Great filtration and delicious water wherever we camped. One thing should be noted. DO NOT connect this filter to your water supply right out of the box unless you want black water to come out of your taps. I first had to run several gallons through it to flush out the free carbon from the manufacturing process. After about 5-6 gallons it was running fine and clean. This is not uncommon with activated carbon filters, including standard refrigerators. Always rinse first. This then extends the life of the filter.
