Stability - this may be a minor gripe for many, the grip has little play or judder when the camera is panned horizontally due to its light weight. I would recommend. I will buy another one for my second GH5. The distance between the mounting base and the grip is about 1 inch smaller than the height of the Olympus EM1X, but it fits if the grip is gently pushed up. However, the foam portion of the grip fits snugly into the hot shoe mount. The stabilizer can be attached to a tripod, and there are rubber guides on the bottom for a secure footing on the ground. There are grooves on the bottom for balancing or moving the camera to the desired position.
