As some others here have commented, I noticed a puddle of water under my kettle the first two times I used it. Strange, I thought. I got it back ALMOST. But then I realized something that will hopefully save others the pain of thinking they should bring back this otherwise perfect kitchen utensil. It turns out that the "Max" line listed for the water level in the pitcher is NOT the line you should fill up to. Instead, if you fill in water to a point between the "max" and "min" lines displayed, your kettle will no longer "leak". Ignore the bitter thoughts of how an item should work without us having to deal with its quirks. Manufacturers, like all of us, are imperfect. But if you can overcome this small mistake, you will end up with a delicious and useful teapot. The only thing I have to mention is that it is quite heavy so it will be very difficult for your toddlers and some elder people to handle. That. For the rest, we get a bonus bicep workout! Oh well done!
