For me it was the first ten purchases. I used a larger monitor in my home office but had to look around my laptop to see it and then my eyesight started to struggle. This monitor allows me to have a second screen next to my laptop (Surface 8). The time saved copying and pasting, checking email while teaching, and anything a second monitor is useful for makes a world of difference. I wanted this smaller monitor as it is the same size as a laptop and fits in all of my travel bags. The lid is nice and can be used as a stand, but I bought a small folding stand to give it more stability. Key points about its monitor: It's powered by a laptop with a USB-C cable; it has no battery; This is not a problem as it only serves as a second monitor and has no other options (WIFI/BT). You must use a higher level USB-C (3.1) cable. I tried other cables I had but it only worked with the included USB-C cable until I bought higher end cables. Settings: I was playing around with the settings and made this discovery. When HDR is set to AUTO on a monitor, other settings are disabled. I went back and forth with her support until it was settled. At first I thought the problem was in the settings menu. I can, but keep another one on my desk at home and don't unpack it after each trip.
