My cat had wreaked havoc on my semi wing chair.it is actually wood and hard to describe. Anyway, I though that the price was okay for trying, but my expectations were really low. I have never seen a chair cover that actually covered the whole chair. My second thought was that the separate cushion cover may be a problem. When the cover arrived, it appeared too small. However, once I finally figured out where the "Back" tag went, it took my granddaughter and I about 5 minuted to put on. I was astonished at how well it fit and how nice it looked. And yes, even the back of the chair was completely covered. There was just enough stretch in it to cover the cushion completely, but yet it was tight enough to stay in place. I think the one thing I did right was measure according to the picture in the description. I am extremely pleased with this chair cover.so much so that I ordered a second one and a cover for a huge three cushioned couch!
