Review on ⚖️ Ozeri Touch Professional Digital Kitchen Scale (12 lbs Edition): Sleek Tempered Glass in Elegant Black, Precise and Practical by Alicia Jones

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Attention buyers. Need expensive batteries that drain quickly and the mechanism is cranky

Just received this item a week ago. My last kitchen scale cost more than twice as much as this one, it was OXO and very poorly constructed. This Ozeri scale is still a source of joy today. Two buttons: one for on/off, a tare button and the other for ounces or grams. The only difficulty was that to turn it off you just had to long press the power button, which the instructions don't say. I figured it out myself, but why doesn't the manual say anything about it? Hey Ozeri, are you listening? The design is almost identical to the smaller iPad variant in terms of size, weight, color and thickness. It really feels like an iPad, which is great. I am writing an additional review. After only 6 months of use I had problems with this scale. Sometimes it doesn't work at all for a few minutes. The gibberish will show, not the weight. This has nothing to do with the need for new batteries. This also happened after the exchange. Also keep in mind that you're only going with lithium-ion batteries, which are expensive, costing around $7 each time they die. I already have a third pair! Keep in mind that scales can be cheap in price but I would prefer if they used AA batteries which are a lot cheaper. When it works, it's good, but it's becoming more and more spirited. Buyer Warning. I downgraded my rating to 1 star.
