We haven't had it long but it works. We can't get the Beep + Shock mode to work. Only beep or shock mode works. We also noticed that it doesn't hit all areas of the mat where it should. I lower my hand, I don't feel it. If I touch one of the "lines" where the shot is, I'll feel it. We have a second one that we haven't tried yet to see if it has the same issue. Regardless, it serves its purpose. When the cat first jumped on the table, it got scared and now it is very aware of it. She's smart and knows when she's on top and when she's not. We can go so far as to leave it on the table instead of on the table and she'll be left out. Time will tell if it continues to work. At the moment I'm giving it 4 stars because not everything works as it should.
