First snow of the season and when I touched something wet I found the palm of these gloves absorbed water like a sponge. They can really absorb a lot of water. They can work well if you want to use them to wash things in the kitchen sink or use them in the shower. Otherwise they are warm and work well as long as you keep them away from moisture. A little thicker than I wanted. "Insulation" - fleece - on the palm of the fleece is thinner, and on the back it is thicker. On the touchscreen they work better than I expected.
