Review on 🔔 Broan-NuTone LA11WH Door Chime in White with Textured Finish by Leroy Wolfe

My original NuTone quickly failed due to melted plastic due to magnetic clamps, short circuit and overheating. I bought this identical replacement and after a few uses the gonger fell apart and was in worse condition than the original. Revain is happy and promptly sent a replacement, but my faith in NuTone is in the way of many similar Chinese products. I think quality and cheapness are mutually exclusive in this case. I already knew that, but it's not loud enough either. Maybe for a really quiet home and you're nearby, but I'm 15 feet away in my office and can barely hear, and sometimes I can't hear. I recently missed a UPS and FedEx delivery that I had to sign for because I didn't hear the call. The call works as it should, friendly but not loud.
