Malfunction. Possible security risk.

I found it necessary to write a review about this product, but only because I am dissatisfied with its imperfection, but because it poses an electrical and fire hazard. After using this melted wax for about a week, I noticed that it took a very long time for the wax to melt and create any scent. Then the light turns off by itself. Then it also started burning the wax instead of melting it and I noticed smoke fumes, NO SMELL, coming out of the unit. Maybe just that item I received was substandard, but I still contacted Revane to let them know about this safety vulnerability.
