1. GREAT indoor tire! We have one in the basement and my son and his friends play it all the time. It's way stronger than any homemade hoop we've found! The metal frame and the tear-off edge can also be severely damaged!2. I bought it for our pool. It was a great pool tire. I think this is the most flexible and durable pool ring. The size of the ring and the quality of the basketball are perfect for the pool. I had to deduct a star because this is the second outdoor tire I've had to buy in about two years because it rusted at several joints. Which brings me to my advice: if you buy this tire and store it outside, buy a clear coat or anti-rust spray and apply it to the seams and edges of the metal parts on this tire. I've also used black waterproof tape where the two main bars meet to try to reduce any possible rusting. Overall this is still our favorite tire and we recommend it for a variety of uses! Note: You can easily order replacement parts for this set. via the manufacturer's website, and we have already ordered more balls and nets from there. Our networks are failing (especially in the pool) and having multiple redundant networks is very handy!
