Final edit! This monitor has gotten better over time; A few months after I've had it, the colors are noticeably richer. It required a burn-in period, which is unusual for a monitor. I still manually set the color to 10-bit in the Nvidia control panel and use the OSD app to change it for work and play, but it's certainly better than the monitors I've always compared it to. I bought this repair and not a scratch. The edit above explains why I got it at a discount. There are a few quirks as you need to install software on the screen to really get the best control. But I'm pretty sure this was brought back because it's not perfect blacks and looks more faded in HDR mode on the Windows desktop, but that's the nature of HDR! Just disable HDR in Windows and only use it for gaming. But in games it's absolutely fine. If you compare it to your OLED TV that ruined your eyes then the colors aren't that clear and the blacks aren't that black, but it's a perfect color monitor after you calibrate it to your liking and the gaming performance is Perfect. And if you just choose the Vivid setting, it'll be more like what you'd expect. So yes, I love it and would recommend it. But if you want perfect contrast and black, add another 0 to the price tag and you get the same size OLED monitor. It's good in every way and good for post-calibration work. I bet a firmware update will improve it.
