So far this backpack has fitted my daughter who is going to kindergarten very well. We'll see how it holds up for a year but for now it's perfect and the price was low compared to the 5-in-1 alternatives on Amazon. As I don't expect my daughter to be carrying a lot of weight in her backpack I think this will hold up well. If I were older and carrying books or work home every day, I wouldn't be sure the material would withstand those stress points in the corners.
