So we did my daughter's hair outside with a garden hose to avoid splashes and stains indoors. ***THIS DID NOT HAPPEN** Now, after 2 weeks and multiple washes, the poor baby still has a blue scalp. Not only that, but once it dries, the color permanently stains her ears, forehead, neck, and anything else she comes in contact with. Every morning before school I have to rub her skin near her hairline and around her neck because she's afraid people might see her blue skin. Sure, her hair is very dark brown, but NOT black. And this hair dye didn't stick to it, and it doesn't show more than a little in certain lighting conditions. We chose this product because it was an inconsistent option for a young newbie, but I guarantee I will never buy it again. Splat products again.
