Cheap but easy best hair color

penetrates everywhere! The bathtub was stained. I had to scrub it with strong bleach. The mortar still has a slight blue tingle. At the end of the day, you're unlikely to see it on dark hair, although you don't have to bleach it first. But my 12 year old daughter easily managed it on her own.

Perhaps the best results are achieved with lighter hair colors.

The instructions are very precise. This stuff gets your hands, floors, etc. dirty. I wore latex gloves because I felt more protected. Honestly, it just looks dark. We tried to see the beautiful indigo under sunlight but it's almost invisible. This is virgin hair that has never died before. We let it sit for an hour and rinsed in cold water as directed. And flushed again and again and again, and the whole sink was indigo blue. We used a sulfate free shampoo and left the product that was in the…

It's just fun and cool looking

Yes, it bleeds a bit and can make a real mess, but it's worth the price. My hair turned a beautiful navy blue color just like I wanted for my Halloween costume. This guy actually makes me think about dying my hair that color forever. It's totally worth the price and even though it bleeds, it washes off your skin very easily. Only baby wipes or makeup remover wipes can actually remove most of it. The picture shows me with stunning blue hair in a Halloween costume.

  • Enjoyable

What a mess! Color is everywhere EXCEPT the hair.

So we did my daughter's hair outside with a garden hose to avoid splashes and stains indoors. ***THIS DID NOT HAPPEN** Now, after 2 weeks and multiple washes, the poor baby still has a blue scalp. Not only that, but once it dries, the color permanently stains her ears, forehead, neck, and anything else she comes in contact with. Every morning before school I have to rub her skin near her hairline and around her neck because she's afraid people might see her blue skin. Sure, her hair is very…

Love! Beauty and Personal Care

I love the color of this dye. Since I had level 1 black hair color, I had to bleach my hair and take it to level 8 for the color to work. Attention: These are stains! A lot of. So be careful, I covered everything, used gloves, used wipes to remove the color and used a comb for the areas near the scalp. It took 3 shampoos and 1 Dawn soap to remove the color.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

It Splatted - Hair Care

Nice color and easy to apply. However, the bottle literally "squirted" while I was using it, and I looked like I'd killed a Smurf Village. It also enjoys running and its color will fade within 24 hours. My bathroom is now blue too.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Darkest blue I've found love it.

Having dark brown hair, even after bleaching and toning, I find that most of the blue dyes in my hair look more turquoise than blue. This dye from Splat bleeds profusely at first, so beware. But I like that it gives me a nice true blue instead of just turquoise. Sometimes I mix it with other blue dyes to get the blue I want, but I've never gotten the blue I liked without adding that dye to the mix.

Happy with the result

The color is perfect! Dark blue/black. In some lighting conditions, it looks black and flickers brighter than dark blue. The only downside is that if it touches any part of your skin, even while rinsing, that skin will turn blue/purple for a while. The floor in our shower room was also blue, but letting the comet scrub and then brushing cleared that up.

Cons
  • poorly thought out

Ready to be a violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I thought about doing something fun with my hair but it ended in a nightmare. Splat hair dye usually takes a very long time to wash off completely, but unfortunately when it ran out of my hair it turned my entire body blue and ruined and stained my entire bathroom and shower. It was so difficult to clean and the parts were constantly stained blue. I ended up with bruises on my scalp that I couldn't wash off and the hair color absorbed unevenly into my hair.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some problems
