I am a music lover and your main music and sound is a snob. I recently purchased a Revain bluetooth speaker after reading many excellent reviews. and i left Fur. Doesn't sound as good as the reviews. So I took another chance with these speakers based on the feedback. I'm lucky because these puppies are AWESOME! I'm just blown away by the sound quality of these speakers. I plug them (only) into the rear channel of a 1987 Soundstream 90 watt amp, nothing else. 30 watts in the front, 60 watts in the rear. This is an extremely clean sounding amp. I went to my stereo guys for a bigger amp and they told me to just turn on what I have. because the amplifier has such a clean signal. I believe that a quality amp can make a big difference, not a powerful one. And it doesn't hurt that the speakers in the van have their own enclosure, with clothing inside that can help with bass response. These speakers easily sound three times more expensive than they sell. I can't wait to get to my surf spot and 'jam' as the tough guys say. If the people on the beach are excited about this I will amend this review and sweeten it even more. Even if they become garbage in 18 months, they should be replaced. But the materials seem very good and I'll be buying a couple of MacGyver mini tents to protect them from the sun and rain so I expect to use them for at least a couple of years. The mesh on the front is made of high quality stainless steel as the neodymium magnet is not attracted to it. Believe me,
