The only benefit I see in this webcam is the wide angle and video clarity. However, white balance and color are completely off. I'm sure it's not a regular webcam but I have a bad sensor on the webcam because you can clearly see the video quality is pretty bad. In my test video I'm using Windows 10 and the latest version of Zoom as of this date. Compared to the cheaper "2K HD Webcam", the video is blurred. My search for the right webcam continues. UPDATE: February 11, 2011 I was able to control the video quality with gucview. Color management can be stored in a profile in Ubuntu, but the default camera setting on Linux, Windows and Mac still assumes very little light in the room. However, with manual adjustment, the webcam can be adjusted for much more natural colors and exposure. I'll still give it a 2 out of 5, but if the camera has auto-detection capabilities to adapt to the light situation, I'd give it a 4 out of 5. If it had extra autofocus, this webcam would get a 5 out of 5.
