When I bought the microfiber car wash towels, I didn't realize that a special detergent was required to keep them absorbent and frizzy, but with McKee's (although I did have to get them a sent them back a few times to get rid of the little debris that got stuck in there) and they're almost like new again. I thought it was really silly to buy special detergent for those "rags," but the proponents made sense and McKee's seemed like the best option. It would be nice if this type of product was available at my local supermarket or even an auto parts store, but no one has ever heard of a specialty microfiber fabric cleaner in my area, not even those who sold the fabric. After reading reviews from people who have washed them with regular detergent I am convinced that this product is a must and the microfiber towels do a great job of making my car shine so I think this is all part of the package is. .
