Review on πŸƒ Garmin Forerunner 235 with Wrist-Based Heart Rate Monitoring, Forest Blue/Black (010-03717-49) by Josh Schaefer

Great watch for running!

The second time I used the Garmin 235 my heart rate stayed at 112 and didn't change. I couldn't get it to work properly. Then I tried connecting it to a heart rate strap and it didn't recognize it. Oh, although he looked pretty cool. I had to return it. Shot. What did I get next you ask? Well, definitely not another Garmin product. I bought a Polar Vantage M and it worked flawlessly for the first few weeks. This new watch makes me feel like I've moved from the closet to the penthouse. Polar's interface might not be as clean or clear as Garmin's, but heart rate works great. Excellent stats. In general, the watch is of very good quality. i really like it **(Start First Review Here): I had a Garmin 230 watch and loved it, but I could never get my heart rate monitor to work for more than 2 minutes. I tried two different watches and two different straps and couldn't get them to work. It could also be user error. I squeeze it on my arm a bit so it fits snugly against my forearm and it worked great for measuring heart rate. I like the 4 panel view. great, I think. Tons of data to read, for example it's good to dive into your stats and really understand them. I only use it for running and wear the Casio GShock Mudmaster as my daily watch. I also have an Omega Seamaster. like my watch! I haven't tried them for intervals. But if you wear them tight, I think they'll work great, although they might have a second or two of lag. but I don't care about this short delay. I run on time and heart rate so this works great for me. All the extra bells and whistles are just the icing on the cake. The cheapest new one I could find was from Revain, and I ordered a yellow ribbon to wear to Columbus Crew football games. go team! So for running it works great. Looks cool and if you want to wear them all day to measure your heart rate, rest etc. you can do that for even more data too. I don't need much from a running watch. use but I know when I need it this is for me!
