While many modern computer cases have room for 2.5-inch drives (mainly for SSDs, but can also be used for spinning hard drives), most older cases don't have room. PC) that you are attached to but still want to use a 2.5" SSD or HDD in it, you need an adapter (all cases that don't support a 2.5" drive but support a modern motherboard MUST have 3.5" drive slots) This allows you to convert the bracket from a 3.5" drive to a 2.5" drive. These trays allow you to do just that. They include the trays and all the hardware you need (even a small screwdriver) to fit that 2.5" SSD or hard drive into a 3.5" bay - and even better if you have 2 of them to get! The shells and screws are made of quality metal - they may or may not match the aesthetic of your particular case, but I like the black coated metal as it goes well with my cases. The screwdriver isn't an heirloom tool, but it definitely gets the job done and is a good set so you don't have to hunt around for the right size screwdrivers or bits. All in all, this is a quality adapter set that fills a need at a decent price - if you have that need, it's definitely worth the price of admission!
