So. why does it have such a bad rating? The answer lies in this plastic case. There are gold, silver and copper/bronze hooks/clasps/pins etc. However, three of the 22 gold hooks were missing either the ball/helix that gives the hooks their appearance. All three of the 21 silver hooks were missing both. Three of the 22 bronzes broke again. One of the coils is somehow stuck in the bend where you place the jump ring. I tried to pull it off and couldn't unless I wanted to break something. hook or my nail. Simple math. There were 22 hooks in gold and bronze, 21 in silver, 1-2 parts were missing from all three hooks. (See picture above). Simple math: 22-3=1919/22= 0.86•100=86%100%-86%= 14%100/7=14.28 What does all this mean. about 1/7 of their hooks are bad. Now yes. It's not 50% or even 25%; BUT if you paid $100 for 100 pieces. 14 of those dollars are wasted. Too bad I didn't get an even number of Silver Hooks. What should I do at 21? Good 19. You know what. I originally had 2 stars but after writing this review I downgraded it to 1. Also notice in the picture above that one of these was just metal when I opened the packet of pins. It was longer than other headed pins and had no head. And was thicker material. I don't know how it passed quality control but it ended up in my box. Another thing to note in the attached photos are some of the eye pencils that were crooked. Well, of all the things that annoy me about this jewelry box, this was the least problematic. All you have to do is take your chain pliers and straighten them. but I only had this problem with the bronze material. And the fact that a lot of other things just don't fit in the box. It's just another breath I take looking at this purchase. Really disappointed with the quality as Paxcoo's $10 jewelry set was better than this one. $25 and the quality has gone down. one might think it would be the other way around. Pretty ironic if you ask me. The other picture I posted shows the pliers, wire, dowels, etc. The pliers are good (bigger than my last set so I'm still getting used to them) but they do the job. However (due to the nature of the material I think) the gold wire was fully unwound when I opened the black case. It popped out and when I tried to roll it back it came loose again. I had to put painters tape on it to fix it. To be honest this whole purchase gave me a headache and if it weren't for the absolute need to finish jewelry soon I would have sent this one back as soon as possible. Although the magnifying glass is great. Like a consolation prize for having lost everything else at the fair. It was a failure, but maybe you'll have better luck. Mine could fail out of 1000 products.
