I am not a demanding user of this industrial quality product. I use it with my precision diamond tools and with my homemade Work Sharp belt sander. It grinds metal quickly, speeding up both sharpening and initial honing. It is also useful for removing sawdust from stone or diamond sharpeners. No liquid is required for leveling, but a number of impregnated waxes are required. The viscosity of this product can handle far more friction and heat than I need. But "the more the merrier” or "belt and braces”. It fits me.
