This is the second Hi Coup corkscrew I've bought as a bartender. I used to host a "wine night" at my old job and fill a basket with empty wine bottles, so I like a reliable corkscrew that isn't annoying. I like the weight of the corkscrew and how it feels in my hand. What bothers me the most are the inconsistencies. I really liked my first Hi-Coup corkscrew and when I lost my first corkscrew I immediately bought the same one but in a different non stealing color. My first Hi-Coup corkscrew had a sharper, more efficient foil knife that cut the foil cleanly in one pass. It also had a sturdier hinge on the first arm, making it easy to open bottles. There are also small aesthetic flaws in the finishes that do not affect the usability of the product but indicate either a quick assembly or poor quality control. Despite all that, it's still a solid corkscrew.
